July 4th Market Newsletter

Vol. 6 Issue 10

Happy Fourth of July!  We hope everyone has a safe and festive 4th!  The market will be open but Waltz Family Farm will not be there.  However, we will have a great variety of produce, honey, coffee, baked goods and a new vendor (details to follow).

Our first two walk thru weekends went well.  Just a few reminders: Please enter the market by the charging station and exit by the back corner of MOM’s.  If you want to reenter the market, please go back to the entrance.  This will help us keep customers socially distanced and our market safely organized.  If you are coming to the market for just one vendor, please enter the market by the charging station and follow the guidance of our volunteers.  Again, let the vendors shop for you and keep a distance of 6ft between you and the next customer.  Thank you for your patience and following our guidelines. Lastly, please continue to wear  your masks.  🙂

New Vendor
Please welcome Janelle’s Crumb Shoppe Bakery.  Janelle, a local from Greenbelt makes a wide variety of desserts including an amazing looking Pineapple Upside Down Cake.  You can preorder from Janelle by email at janellescrumbshoppebakery@gmail.com or call/text to: 301-257-1730.  Check out some of her amazing dessert treats on her Facebook page @janellescrumbshoppebakery.  She’ll have some items for sale at the market as well.

Weekend of July 4th
The market will be open the weekend of July 4th but Waltz Family Farm  and Calvert Farm will not be there.  Please pre-plan what you’ll need for your July 4th cookouts this weekend!

Volunteers
We are still in need of volunteers (18 and older) to help direct traffic and to check customers in for the market each weekend. The shifts will be on Saturday from 8:45am to 12:15pm.  Please click HERE to sign up for a shift. If you have any questions please let Scarlet hfmscarlet@gmail.com know.
