These last few weeks have been fantastic!  We really appreciate the support of the community for continuing to support our vendors and to adhere to our Covid 19 regulations.  The market has had a great season and we have five weeks left.  Our last day with be November 21st.  Just in time to stock up for Thanksgiving.  🙂

Backyard Boogie is going to take two weeks off but will be back November 7th.

If you were unable to contact Laurie and Jay about ordering a turkey, please email them at laurie@waltzfamilyfarm.com.  The turkeys are from Whispering Breeze Farm, same farm as last year.  Laurie and Jay think they have the best, most flavorful pastured turkeys and hope you do too.  Whispering Breeze Farm is a super nice, Family Farm.  They feed their turkeys a high grain and move them daily to fresh pasture.  Laurie and Jay will deliver fresh, unfrozen birds to you at the last Hollywood Farmers Market on Saturday, November 21st.  Waltz Family Farm is taking deposits of $20 per bird.
Turkey sizes: 10-15 lb. birds, 15-20 lb. birds, 20-25 lb. birds, 25+ lb. birds at $4.95/lb.  (subject to availability).
New this year- Turkey breast at $9.50/lb.  This is one boneless breast average weight is 3lbs.
Turkey legs at $6.50/lb packed 1 leg each average weight 1.5-3.00 lbs.  The breasts and legs will be harvested earlier in the fall and frozen.

Calvert Farm will have Mums, Pumpkins, Gourds. Also, a very nice selection of Winter Squash that can be used for Fall Decoration & then enjoyed on the holiday table. Email Pam at Farmer@calvertfarm.com

As the market continues we would like to remind our customers that they must wear a mask the entire time they are at the market.  We also need to ask that you tell the vendors what your order will be and they will pick it out for you.  It’s for everyone’s health and safety.

Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers to help guide our customers through the market between 8:45am to 1:00pm!  If you or anyone you know would be willing to help for a few hours, email Scarlet at hfmscarlet@gmail.com.  All volunteers must be 18 years or older.

The Market’s Covid-19 guidelines

  • Please enter the market by the charging station and exit by the back corner of MOM’s.  If you want to reenter the market, please go back to the entrance.  This will help us keep customers socially distanced and our market safely organized.
  • If you are coming to the market for just one vendor, please enter the market by the charging station and follow the guidance of our volunteers.
  • Please tell the vendors what you would like to order and they will pick the products for you. Please do not touch the produce.  
  • Keep a distance of 6ft between you and the vendor and the next customer. 
  • Thank you for your patience and following our guidelines.
  • Lastly, please continue to wear your masks.  🙂

ProFish had a great week last Saturday and are happy to be back this weekend! They did sell out of some of their products so make sure you stop by early.

Smitty’s Snacks will be back this week!

Waltz Family Farm is now taking orders for Pasture raised Turkeys for Thanksgiving.  They are purchasing them from Whispering Breeze Farm, same farm as last year.  Laurie and Jay think they have the best, most flavorful pastured turkeys and hope you do too. And Whispering Breeze Farm is a super nice Family Farm. They feed their turkeys a high quality grain and move them daily to fresh pasture. Laurie and Jay will deliver fresh, unfrozen birds to you at the last Hollywood Farmers Market on Saturday, November 21st. We encourage you to order early since there is a higher demand for farm fresh turkeys this year.  Waltz Family Farm is taking deposits of $20 per bird.
