Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: 45 mins
Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins

2 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, chopped

1 (32 fluid ounce) container vegetable broth
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Nutmeg or pumpkin spice (optional)
Directions

Last Saturday, our dear friend Farmer Pam Stegall, with Calvert Farm, was sitting in her office when suddenly neighbors were banging on her door.  She looked outside to see her barn was engulfed in flames.  The fire was put out but she lost everything that was in there, all the farm equipment, etc.  If you would like to support Pam please come speak to Aaron, Julie or Laurie.  We can give you her address.
